Director of Program and International Relations, Afrolab

Danielle Almeida is the Director of Program and International Relations at Afrolab – Preta Hub. An educational scientist and consultant specialized in racial and gender diversity, she focuses on the intersections between race, gender, and migration. Over two decades, Danielle has worked with companies and institutions across various sectors in Latin America, Central America, and Europe. She has led training processes, projects, and research centered on promoting affirmative actions for the visibility, inclusion, and appreciation of non-white and migrant people, especially in terms of access to education, employment, and income. Among her recent roles, she has served as a guest researcher and consultant for the inclusion of ethnic-racial diversity at the Akademie der Künste der Welt (Germany), as well as a professor and tutor in the Independent Studies Program at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, and a consultant at the Creation Factory “La Escocesa” (Spain). Currently, as part of the actions of Preta Hub and Afrolab, she coordinates the First Study on the Profile of Black Entrepreneurs in Latin America, a project in collaboration with CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and Plano CDE.
