Director of Just and Regenerative Economy, Fundación Avina

Gonzalo is a professional with a background in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, with vast experience in the field of Sustainable Development, construction of collective agendas in Sustainable Economic Development, design and development of projects related to sustainable business, value chain integration, recycling with inclusion, corporate social responsibility, circular economy, and inclusive business. From 2012 to 2021, she was responsible for the Regional Inclusive Recycling Program of Fundación Avina, Since 2021, responsible for one of the 3 strategic axes of impact of Avina’s theory of change: fair and regenerative economy, from where Avina’s efforts are organized to try to connect the challenges of economic systems, in terms of circularity and regeneration of ecosystems, with those of social inclusion and economic justice.
