Sustainability Director for Latin América, Mercado Libre

Guadalupe is a specialist in developing strategy and communication for organizations and projects that promote a more equitable and participatory economy, with expertise in areas such as environmental solutions, entrepreneurship, innovation, impact investments, and inclusive business. She joined Mercado Libre 8 years ago (August 2016) and has been responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the company’s sustainability strategy for the entire Latin American region for the past 5 years. She has been working for over 15 years in the fields of Communication and Community Impact. She worked at Organización Román as the Head of Community Relations and previously served as the Regional Sustainability Director at the communication agency URBAN, where she led high-visibility and strategically valuable projects for companies like Google, Unilever, and Coca-Cola at a regional level. For more than 4 years, she was part of COMUNIA as Partner and Program Director, focusing on advising civil society organizations and companies in setting up their CSR areas. She holds a degree in Communication from the National University of La Plata and a Master’s in Discourse Analysis from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UBA. She is currently a member of the Southern Cone Impact Investment Working Group.
