Head of Lending, Transaction Management & Mujeres al Mundo, HSBC

BIOGRAPHY
With over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, Melisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UBA and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from UCEMA. Currently, she serves as the Head of Lending & Transaction Management at HSBC Wholesale Banking, where she promotes innovative approaches to business, with a special focus on the development of sustainable finance. Among her achievements stands the co-creation of ‘Mujeres al Mundo’, HSBC’s value proposition aimed at supporting and empowering women in the business world, now present in Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico. Melisa represents HSBC in the Sustainable Finance Protocol and at BritCham Argentina, where she co-chairs the DEI committee. She also serves as an Ambassador for the FLOR Foundation and mentors in various programs at Vital Voices Cono Sur and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. For six consecutive years, she has been included in the global ranking of HERoes Women in Business, which recognizes the efforts of those who are opening new opportunities for women in the business world worldwide. Building a better world is the driving force behind Melisa’s career and daily life, as she continually seeks new ways to contribute to the well-being of people and the planet we share.
